The leader in industrial and logistics real estate is about to build an extra 125,000 m² in and around Le Havre.
The signing on September 19 of a COT (a French lease giving temporary authorisation to use public land) with Haropa-Port du Havre meant that Prologis has been able to move in to a 28.6-hectare plot of land, located in the third phase of the Pont de Normandie logistics park. PLPN 3 covers a total of 47 hectares. Work landscaping the lots in Sandouville (Seine-Maritime), right next to the Multimodal Terminal, should begin in early 2020, and the construction of the two planned buildings, creating a total of 125,000 m², in 2021. This space will be in addition to the 275,000 m² already built in the Prologis Park at Hode, in Saint-Vigor-d'Ymonville.
And that figure should soon exceed 300,000 m² when an additional warehouse is completed in the coming months. Through its presence in PLPN3, Prologis is further strengthening its interest in Le Havre, an interest that dates back some 20 years now.
